A One Day Workshop by Barbara Mann
Ever wonder what flowers are hiding in your paint box? Let’s find out! Add a touch of whimsy and color to your lettering arts! Let the flowers dance from the end of your brushes adding a little twist here and a little pressure there and finish them off with a few colorful dots and flourishes! These fun flowers are great to use for invitations, greeting cards or anywhere a little touch of sunshine can brighten someone’s day!

Supplies:
- Micron pens – Black, .005 and 01 (Zig or Pitt pens in similar sizes – permanent)
- Pencil – HB sharpened or .5mm mechanical HB
- Pentel click eraser or white plastic eraser
- Kleenex – small square box – no lotions
- Viva brand paper towels
- Water containers (2) small margarine size (a short vs. tall container best)
- Water brush (water in handle) medium size – (Zig – Michaels or Pentel Aquabrush – Hobby Lobby or John Neal)
- Small mist spray bottle
- Bone folder
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
Brushes :
- Natural hair or soft synthetic watercolor brushes. Following sizes are desired or sizes that are close.
- Flat – 1/4 “ and 1/2” “
- Round pointed – #2, #4, #6
Paper :
- Aquabee Super Deluxe Sketchbook (burgundy cover) 9×12 spiral bound watercolor journal (Hobby Lobby or Dick Blick 10010-9003)
- Strathmore Windpower Bristol pad – Vellum Surface, size 11 x 14 (Michaels)
Optional Items : – if you have . . . may not use . . .
- Pearl-Ex or Twinkling H20
- Gel Pens – clear, gold, silver
- Gel Pen – White
- Watercolor pencils (in flower colors)
- Black permanent ink pens in other sizes
- Arches Text Wove – if you have pieces, any size.
