MAC offers workshops for beginning, intermediate and more advanced calligraphers. MAC schedules 4-hour Mini-MAC and 2-day workshops, as well as our annual day of three 2-hour mini-sessions, called Tips & Tricks. From time to time, MAC offers Extended Studies Workshops, providing the opportunity to study one weekend a month with the same instructor. These workshops are open to members and non-members, and fees are charged.

• Weekend Workshops - intensive one-or two-day classes that focus on a wide variety of hand lettering alphabets, creativity, and topics related to calligraphy, such as bookbinding and paper decoration. Workshops are usually held on weekends.
• Extended Study Workshops - weekend workshops, usually two days, which meet once per month for several months. This provides an opportunity to study the same topic with the same instructor for a more in-depth educational experience.
• Mini-MAC Workshops - In the words of one member, "these are fast, fun, and fabulous!" Mini-MACs are one afternoon sessions that expose you to the more creative side of calligraphy. They are held on the weekends and let you indulge yourself in a free form frenzy.
• Tips & Tricks Workshops - MAC's annual day of three sessions of 2-hour mini workshops.
• Back to Basics Workshops - a series of short workshops in the fundamentals of calligraphy, ideal for beginners or those looking for a refresher class.
